Family notes: Delira or Delyra Holbrook, 1881-1882, was the second child of C. E. and Sarah Holbrook, of Little River, Kan., and the granddaughter of Dr. George and Charlotte Holbrook of Douglass, Kan. She was the niece of Mary Elizabeth Holbrook (later Brown), whose letter to family reported that Delira died around the time of this child's death. Mary Elizabeth was also a resident of Douglas(s), Kansas prior to her marriage to Charles Brown in 1885.
