HOW WATCHES ABE II ADR It will be apparent to any" one, vho will examine a Souit Gold V-atch, that aside from the necessary thickness for en graving and polishing, si large itortion of the precious metal used, is needed only to stiffen and hold the engraved portions in place, and supply the necessary soliditv and strength. The suqdus gold is actually needless so far as utility and beauty are concerned. In JAMES BOSS' PAT ENT GOLD WATCH CASES, this waste of precious metal is overcome, and the solidity am) stoexotii produce at from one-third to one half of the usual cost of solid cases. This nrocess is of the most iuiple nature, as follows: a plate of nickle -composition metal, especially ad-adted to the purpose, has two plates of solii gold soldered one on each side. The three are then passed between ikSHsIi- ed steel rollers, and the result is a strip of heavy ptateu composition, from which tlie cases, backs, centres, bezels, are cut and shaped hy suitable dies and formers.

From the Rockport, Banner: There is no medicine in the world which has gained such fame as Sr. Jacob's Oil; this is, however, not in the least astonishing, when we consider its truly wonderful curative powers. Mr. F. Rodenburg, of Grand view, called at our office List week, and related the followiug circumstance: I suffered with Rheumatism for over six years; consulted many physicians and tried hundreds of remedies but without ivail.

Having seen St. Jacob's Oil ad vertised in your paper, and heard of some most astonishing cures, I sent to Rock-port for a bottle of the Oil, and used it according to directions. Now is the Time to Travel In coinpl lance with the law vf the State, anil tor the public sood, the MISSOURI PACIFIC THROUGH LINE has reduced its local an 1 through ticket fares nearty one-third of what they had previously been, and now it is almost cheaper to travel by that line than to stay at home. "Notwithstanding this great reduction, the Missouri Pacific will still continue to sell Round Trip Tickets between certain Stations at a further reduction of ten per cent, from the regular tariff, and it is hoped that the Line will be amply re paid by a generous patronage for its liberal concessions in passenger fares.
