He is a man of mature judgment and ripe experience and above all of high moral character.

Hoisington is not a can didate for adjutant-general of Kansas. Of course there is no man in the state who would be better quali fied for the position than he, and many of the members of the K. N. G. have requested him to be a candidate, but he cannot aford to take it.
