He had blue eyes and brown hair and claimed as his parents Harold and Ella Mae Schmidt. Then he sat right down and planned how he would spend his new life.

He decided to go to Sterling High School where he would master the subjects shop, dramatics, government, psychology, and boys' home ec. Shop would be his favorite class, and Mr. Gable would be his favorite teacher. He would also be in Kays. Someday he would see a five foot, six inch blonde weighing from 110 to 280, and she would be his ideal girl.

Harold has prepared for his senior year for eleven years. He has grown to be six feet tall and weighs 150 lbs. Connie Stevens, and Troy Donahue top his list of favorite actors. When he is hungry he looks for a piece of cherry pie. He is happiest on the Fourth of July, when he watches Trail of the Lonesome Pine, or listens to "Guitar Man." A 1958 Pontiac beats all, as do the sport basketball and the color red.

Chris Mon-tez is his favorite singer. When Harold has leisure time he enjoys working with firearms or putting model cars together. Harold really dislikes people who think they know it all. Harold's future is undecided. He may attend college for two years then be either a carpenter or mechanic.
