ft Some party or parties, no doubt unthought-edly, while moving their plows from one place to another, allow it to turn a furrow while crossing streets and unoccupied lots, which annoys the ovt ners and besides mars the beauty of our commons. Plowmen, please do so no more. We would call attention to the fact that there is roem in our Public Park for many more trees; some of them have dUd and should be replaced by fresh ones. Our Park is a success so far and bids fair to be a pleasant summer resort in the near fu ture, if it be not neglected. All public spirited persons are free to plant trees therein.

There will be an entertainment given at the school house ou Satnrday night April 25th, for the purpose of liquidating the small debt still remaining on the books purchased for the school. Come every one for we should feel proud of the library, although small as yet, with our mites we hope to make it immense in proportion. Do not forget the night. 1 wish to exonorate the Phyiscians that took part in the amputation of my limb. I do this in case anything should happen to prevent my living.

It was my own wish to have the amputation, the Physi cians said the case was very much against me, and there was eighty-five chances to die, against fifteen live. I will just state that I have less pain than before the operation. Wm. Milligan. Mr.

Lynch, our faithful and efficent section foreman ot the Sun Flower route, has purchased 80 acres of land one half mile north-west of Bronson, for which he paid $1200 cash. We now look for a spirited race between the girls of Bronson to see which' one will grace the mansion to be erected thereon, and stand ready and waiting to print the wedding cards.
