Bay, of Sutton township, Wednesday. Leroy Towns, of Wilson town ship, and Miss Jennie Pearl Bart- lelt were united in marriage by Rev. Hewitt, at the M. E. parson age, Wednesday evening.

Mrs. H. Stout and daughters Georgia and Pauline went to Dodge Citv, Monday, for a visit with the family of C. E. Wyatt.

Mrs, Wy- att and Mrs. Stout were schco.l girl chums in Ohio. A nephew "of E. C. Hetarie came from Arkansas last week and is working for B.

McCoy. He says Mr. Helvie only stayed in Ar kansas a on account of so mucli sickness there. The Christian Woman's Board of Missions will meet at the home of C. J.

VanKeuren next Thursday and will entertain their husbands with a picnic supper. Mrs. J.E. Lucas will lead the meeting. County Attorney Barkley was exhibiting a prize ear of corn in town Saturday, which weighed 2 ponnds and was 12 inches long.

He calls it the Spring Creek Blue and White Mised, and says he has 12 acres of it of which 'hat ear is a fair samplp. Abe Ridgewav's cook shack was destroyed by fire Monday. Mrs. Rjdsjeway was washing and her washing machine and most of the clothes went with the other contents of the shack but she succeeded in preventing the fire spreading to the house.
