Rebeca M. Goldsborough mother of II. J. and John Goldsborough, died at, her home in Monet Mo. last Wednesday aged 90 years and 20 days.

CALF STORY. FROM THE WICHITA BKACON. President dies of the National Rank of Commerce came in from Eldorado this morning. He had been over there on business and he tells a good story a-bout the recent storm. A patrjn of one of the lariks, he said had a small herd of cattle and no shelter for them.

When the blizzard was the worst he drove to his cattle lots and went among the cattle, one year: ling calf seemed about to freeze. farmer's heart was touched at the sight. He pulled off his rubber crat, put it over the calf, ran its legs through the arms and tied the skirts under the calf's belly. The poor calf seemed to enjoy the new arrangment. He dually looked a-loimd at his sides.

He gave a leap in he air and bellowed. That scared the other cattle; they stampeded through the corral fence, which scared the horses, causing them to break loooe. The horse smashed the wagon all te pieces: the calf toro the cat into ribbons stepping oti it and the cattle scattered all over a township. He said after he id related the accident the farmer remarked, "1 sure got the calf warm." The little son of Mr. and Mrs.
