Wormley, who has been sick, is reported no better, and has now a swelling about the eye, which is thought to be a development of erysipelas. Yesterday a doctor who was in the court room for a time expressed the opinion that unless great care was exercised erysipelas would result. The close air of the crowded court room, limited exercise, and good eatingall conduce to this development.

Dr. Spitzka, the prominent New York expert, will be examined for the defense soon. THE WHITE HOUSE was unusually quiet to-day, it being Saturday, and only members of Congress being admitted. The prosecution closed their case to-day in the Vos-camp murder trial. The evidence shows that on Sunday, May 8 last, Lyman H.
