The same paper declares that, notwithstanding the movement was so sudden, it has gained many unexpected friends and supporteis in the ranks of the National Democracy. The Anzeiger adds; "It is certain that Saint Louis, and probably a few other counties, ara ripe for this agitation, and that any movement on the part of the borderers in Western Missouri to interfere again in the affairs of Kansas, will certainly be the signal for the question of emancipation in Missouri."
