Wellington Mail. Yesterday John Covalt was found guilty in Judge Walton's court of violating the prohibitory law. and fined $500 and costs and sentenced to ninety days in jail. He appealed the case. John Noonan, who was charged with Covalt, was discharged.

This morning Covalt was again arrested on the charge of violating the law and his hearing set for tomorrow morning. Ongy Farns worth died at Peckham last night.
