THE TOPEKA PILGRIM. 7 for one. They are excellently finished and well worth the twenty-five cents they cost. Supt. Broad has been a very great helper to us in some of our recent business meetings.

He will always find a seat and a welcome in the conferences of North Church. Come again. On Christmas eve Mr. Dennis Page and Miss Laura Qffield were married in the pastor's parlor-The Pilgrim joins many friends in congratulations. They will live in North Topeka.

The Kindergarten work that is being conducted in our church is not as well attended as it should be, but the children are all happy who come. We are hoping that the Association will soon see its way clear to open work on the North Side. North Church is wearing a smile so broad as to be almost a grin. They are in hope of soon being able to stop paying interest. If you wish to hasten this happy day see the pastor.

He will tell you how it may be done. The Graves firm will change to Graves Sons with February 1st. The same high quality of work will be maintained, and the same courteous treatment will be given. They will continue the business at their old stand, corner Kansas avenue and Curtis street. board of deacons, and Bro.

B. Mellinger as trustee. There will be some changes in our work for this year, but we think the innovations will be improvements. Mr. Roger Boss, of Washburn, has been rendering excellent service at the East Indianola Mission.

He is preaching there every Sabbath evening. Our Christmas exercises were short, but interesting. There was a treat for the children and a Santa Claus. The question now is, "Who acted Santa Claus?" Owing to the pastor's illness the pulpit had to be filled for two Sundays. Rev.

L. P. Broad, Mr. Roger Boss, and the Washburn Volunteers rendered acceptable service. Althen McManus, Tailors, 610 Kansas can make to your order a nice suit for little money.

The Ladies' Society is planning for a series of lectures to be given by the pastor. The Ladies' Missionary Society of the First Church will join them in this work and the lectures will be given in the First Church. The proceeds will be applied to the North Church budget.
