24 THE NEW REPUBLIC MAGAZINE. to display the glory of God by the power af the Holy Spirit World through Jesus, the anointed. The writer hereof has witnessed many such resurrections in the past few years and will doubtless see many more. The fact is, only those recently dead, or supposed to be, and free from bodily disintegration, were ever attempted by Jesus or his apostles. Modern scientific investigation by our learned physicians, confirmed by the express teachings of wise spirits, demonstrates that in all cases where there is suspension of life there is hope, so long as the magnetic umbilical cord extending from the prostrate body and its spirit form is not severed, Until this cord is broken the spirit man may return into his bodily precincts.

These include kings, queens, emperors, czars, lords and ladies of the old world, and presidents, cabinet officers, congressmen, priests and laymen, bishops, ministers, lawyers and doctors, of every faith and denomination in the world. Every language teaches it. The Bible itself is full of it.

Those who doubt it would give the world to know it true. Every minister of Christ's spirit gospel leans silently but trustingly upon it; to him it confirms the divine mediumship of Jesus and proves his Bible true. Through it even the wandering infidel and benighted atheist "sees a star and listening love hears the rustle of a wing..
