Boe has been visiting his parents near Corning and has returned home. Mrs. Meyers, formerly of 713 Chandler street, has. returned from Chicago from a short visit with her mothre and children? Mrs. Bastian of 520 Harrison street called on some of her friends on Chandler street yesterday.

Grandma Sweet of 704 Chandler is moving to Jefferson street to be near her daughter. Mr. and Mrs. Bastian of 624 Chandler street are improving. Mrs.

T. A. Virlin of Osage City is visiting friends and relatives in Topeka. Mrs. Eobert Wells of 634 Chandler street has the grip.

Mrs. Sanfor was visiting with her daughter at 631 Chandler street. William Irish of 614 Chandler street, who was laying off on account of bad weather, has returned to work again. Mrs. Evendorf, who has been sick at her home on Lime street, is much better.

A new mail carrier is on duty on the East Side. A missionary meeting was held yesterday at the home of Mrs. Corwin at 1010 East 3rd street. The wedding of Mr. Claude Franklin Anderson to Miss Buth Naomi Chase on February 17 has been kept a secret from many of their friends until the last few days.

Bev. Shutt of the East Side M. E. church will be absent from the pulpit next Sunday. The Topeka Motorcycle Club will hold their first run of the season on Sunday, March 16th.

West Side News George Johnston, proprietor of the Arlington Heights grocery store, is low with diabetes. The doctor was called three times in one day. John Wilson, who lives on 5th and Ward avenue, has traded his place for some property in Wanamaker. O. E.

Walker is remodeling his houses near the brick plant. He expects to build houses for the men employed at th brick plant. The brick yard has begun to fire the kilns. Mother Bumor says that a right nice young man living out near Gage Park will soon lead to the altar a very prominent Morris avenue young lady. Tom Eaton is driving the delivery wagon for the Arlington Heights grocery.

The sheep dog of the Topeka State hospital has been stolen and the herder says he would like for them to return him. Floyd Parr of Pittsburg, has come to Arlington Heights to build a fine home. Mrs. Jim Headden of Tecumseh is moving into town. Mrs.

Kinney of Arlington Heights was in town today. Mrs. Mary Long is staying with her mother after her father's death Mr. T. Cooney.

Mr. Lowe and family of 415 Clay street will move to his home Monday to make his garden. Mrs. David Overmeyer and Mrs. De-Vere Bafter will return tomorrow from a trip to California.

Miss Lulu Fordyce is in New York City on business. Miss Agnes Walsh and Mrs. Frances Walsh are going to New York City to go upon the stage.
