Custoria, BALL BLUE; Will tell you about the balance next week. JAMES WELSH, May the blessings of Heaven attend the path of the newly married couple, is the wish ofLall. When I. Waller, the leading (ie) grocer of Maize says that we owe him 75 cents he deliberately lies. It is just the reverse.

There is one dollar and fifty-cents due us from him for local advertising (less 75c for a bottle of medicine which was warranted to cure or no par.) A fellow by the name of Tarsons contrived to trick us out of six months advertising amounting to $1,50 by running two five line locals in I. Wallers name. We informed Mr. Waller that we would hold him responsible for the amount. He now has the cheek and the pure un-adulerated gall of a donkey by insinuating to people that we owe him 75c1 Oh! Consistency, thou art a jewel, indeed! The latest official organ, out is the Maize Ciutic, which claims to be the organ of the Colwich base ball team, Mound Ridge Journal.
