Dr. G. G. Drown, the colored candidate for the office of commissioner of Parka and Public Dulldlngs hag held some very Important positions In Atchlnaon county, where he resided previous to moving to Wichita. Mr.

He is also In close touch with the needs ot the colored poeple. He is working on the theory that the colored people should have a representative on thp board of education and for that reason he should secure the votes from the white people as well as from his own race.
