sway. Mr. Smalley plays the sheriff and is a splendid type of Western manhood a perfect animal. Gypsies, outlaws, ranchmen and a Western sheriff are to be seen. Added to all this the mystery of the story is not solved leaving you to draw your own conclusions.

The Coryphee A coryphee is a dancer or chorus girl. Florence Lawrence plays the part and it is in this sort of work that she is at her best and a typical show girl she makes. We are shown the life of a chorus girl and in a series of incidents that are highly dramatic and gripping. Though generally judged as hardened and unprincipled that is not always the case and in this picture we learn that they can really be classed as human, possessing the same human qualities as most people and capable of just as much of the spirit of kindliness and self sacrifice. This is a splandid story and will not fail to please you.

The Gambler's Oath Another strong feature with its locale in the untamed West. The gambler has lost through love for the gaming table the greatest thing in his life his sweetheart. He swears never to gamble again but there comes a time when he feels that one game will save the happiness of -the girl under his protection Ha plays. It is an awful game but Fate is kind. He wins.

His opponent losing all goes so far as to stake his very life in the game and loses. A wonderful picture and holds the interest in every scene. Big, robust men and thoroughly western settings add immeasurably to the story. Notable Negroes and thier Achievements This very special scenic and industrial feature was produced by the Afro-American Film Company of New York City. It shows for the first time in the movies some of the great Negroes of the country; Dr.

Booker T. Washington, Hon. John C. Mapier, Hon. Emmet J.

Scott, Ex-Congressman George H. White and many others. In additi especially interesting scenes of the recent session of the National Negro Business League in Philadelphia and the Knights cf Pythias Conclave in Baltimore. Comic scenes on the streets of Harlem and views of millions of dollars worth of property and business enterprises are also shown. We consider ourselves very fortunate in being able to secure this extraordinary subject as it has been in almost unprecedented demand in the larger cities.
