Secretary Fred Coulson (Continued from page 1) sas City Home Telephone which at the time operated nearly 35000 telephones. He was appointed Secretary of the Kansas Independent Telephone Association in March, 1914, and was elected to the position at the annual meeting of the Association this year. In 1903 Mr. Coulson was married to Miss Bessie A. McClenny, of Dunavant, Kansas, and from this union came two bright children, Fred, now ten years old, and Helen Louise, six years old.

Mr. Coulson is a Shriner and an -Elk and an active member of the Topeka Rotary Club and the Topeka Commercial Club. Among the telephone companies installing hand addressograph machines in connection with their new advance collection routine are the Fredonia Telephone Sterling Telephone and Shawnee Independent Telephone Co. A hand addressograph machine is used in the office of The Telephone News, and it addresses envelopes for our issue of 650 copies in less than an hour.
