THE BROOM CORN REVIEW ENLARGING FACTORY. Mr. W. F. Robinson, broom corn dealer at Liberal, Kansas, also operates a broom factory.

He has recently added a new building 24 64 having storage capacity on the second floor for a car load of brooms. New machinery is being installed and the output will be increased from 20 to 50 dozen per day. These improvements will give the factory 'an up-todate equipment and Mr. Robinson has a large supply of choice brush which will enable him to make a fancy grade of brooms. Mr.

Robinson also sells considerable broom corn to manufacturers throughout the country, and was fortunate in securing some good brush earlier in the season. FACTORY NOTES. Natchez, Miss--The Natchez Broom Factory, recently organized here will be removed to Baton Rouge, La. Deshler, Neb. -The broom factory here paid out $2,600.78 in wages during the month of February.

It now employs eighty-one persons. A broom factory is to be built and operated at Corning, Arkansas. The machinery for the plant already being on the grounds. A large number of the farmers in that section have agreed to engage in the culture of broom corn as a result of the establishment of the factory. Cincinnati, -Peter DeRoo, for many years identified with the broom industry in Cincinnati, died at the family residence, 268 McCormick place, Saturday afternoon, after an illness of several weeks.

Mr. ReRoo is survived by a widow and three sons, Jacob John and Charles M. DeRoo. He was born in Holland in 1837 and came to Cincinnati nineteen years later.
