Burnett, through their untiring efforts, have established an enviable position for themselves among" the Orders largest producers, and at the same time have made the Knights and Ladies of Security a household word in the different communities under their supervision. BY WM. A. BIBV, NATIONAL TREASURER WM.

A. BIBY National Treasurer J. L. EVANS Dist. Greenleaf, Kan.

In our visits to the big membership "campaign meetings this month President Kirkpatrick and the writer had the most strenuous experience which we will, in all probability, be called upon to engage 1 Yin for many, days to come. Cross-coun-try, automobile drives of 60 miles, an all night 100 mile race on a freight train, on account of wrecks, together "3 with a few minor inconveniences, only tended to make us appreciate all the zation iir the person of Local Manager CL H. Foster, who promises to soon place that council on a par, in point of membership, with the largest councils of Texas and we believe he will do it. The local organization had arranged a six oclock dinner in Our honor, but a belated railroad train robbed us of that pleasure. Brother E.

Hunter, president of the council, presided and introduced the speakers. Other local council officers assisted in the initiation of the 206 new members in a most satisfactory manner. The work of their drill team under the command of Captain Grover C. Cave, is entitled to special mention, as their work was of such a high degree that it was hard for us to reconcile ourselves to the fact that it wai? only the fifth time they had been on the floor. Wichita Falls has promised us that they would soon adopt the unit plan of contributions to the Home and Hospital.

Brother- Dykemans district now stands ahout 85 per cent unit plan and the adoption of-this, plan by Wichita Falls will lust about put the entire district over the top. The Committees having the whole more the unusually large and enthusiastic gathering of the old and new members at each of the meetings in which we assisted. At Marysville, Kansas, the first meet-d ing, we were welcomed on arrival by JY District Manager Evans, National Com-f mitteeman F. Ayres and a local recep-: tion committee consisting of President I. Brother I. B. Davis, president of the council, presided and introduced the speakers, and the addresses were enthusiastically received. One of the marked features of this meeting was the large number of old members present, some from quite a distance. Of the class of over a hundred new adult members, more than seventy-five presented themselves for initiation, marching to the hall in a body.

Brother W. T. Dykeman, district manager, and Assistant Manager Sister Fontella Lindsay, of the Panhandle Texas district, are making real history in that district this year. Thirteen hundred new members in four months a record hard to revival is not $v'a local proposition, but a general one, and reaches from Dalhart and Amarillo to Wichita Falls. They have declared their intention of continuing their aggressive campaigns until each council in their district is recruited to its full fighting strength.

Wichita Falls, the first council visited in this district; has recently developed a strong addition to the Dykeman-Lindsay recruiting organi- At Vernon, our next meeting, we immediately were impressed with the fact that that council was up to the Panhandle standard in every particular well loyal to the best interests of the K. and L. of S. and sparing no effort to put their organization in the lead of all other organizations in their city. Brother C.

Andrews, local manager, is an old standby in this district, find the 132 new members secured during their campaign under his supervision is the, best possible evidence that Brother Andrews and-Vernon council understand each other anil are working, together in perfect as their work so plainly shows.
