If they will not consent to build the walk across their property then we think the City Council should build the walk and charge same to the railrord company. Rev. Archer preaobed in the Park M. E. church last Snuday to qnite a large audience. After preaching lie presented letters to each one of his mombers and a few friends of the church.

I suppose we will hear of good results next Sunday frem those letters. Last week Mr. J. O. Mead hitched np his two colts in his lnmber wagon and took his wife and three children and started for the home of his wifes father.

On the way the team got scared at some sheep in Mr. Fassetts field and started lo run off; They ran in the hedge and scratc hed his face pretty bad. On last Monday evening there was a surprise party at the residence of Mr. James Hampson. The evening was spent in games and at a late hour the young peop le went to their respective homes.
