Gome and see us when you want your winter potatoes We are selling canned corn and tomatoes at 10c per can A highly mercerized cloth in heavy weight for fall and winter wear, in four pat terns, white ground with black figure, white ground with blue dot, champaigne with Persian figure and blue ground with black dot, price per yard fc Five Hundred. The popular card game in Burlington this fall and winter will be the gme of Five Hundred. The gajne is a mixture of euchre and whist, and can be played by two, throe or four persons, when four play they play with partners.

The game is pronounced much more interesting thau sixhanded euchre and nicer than whist for a social evening by practically everyone here who has played it. The count is rather complicated and it is necessary to have a card giving the schedule of points on each table. The game as ordinarily played is euchre but when the bidder makes it grand or no trump it is played like whist except that there is no trump except the joker which takes anything. The game has been a little slow in getting started hereeseving to the fact that there were only about half a dozen of the schedule cards in town, but now that the cards can be obtained it is likely that the game will cut out nearly everything else, especially for small or medium sized companies. In response to several requests The Jeff 1rinteuy printed the rules and schedule on cards which will be sold at 10 cents each or three for 25 cents.

They are on sale at The Teff Printery or will be sent by mail postpaid on receipt of price. 40 cents 4 POST bit $15 Colorado a ij ntiiwflirifWi Leave us your orders we 5 will make prompt deliveries SpeciaJ Sa.le on Suits, Skirts acrid Cloaks a.11 this week. i Co HAY C. CLARK. Telephone 88, Geo.
