Thorn. News a. rid Notes. Elder Sydney Scott is conducting a series of meetings for the colroed people of Winfield. Died April 6, 1906, Marietta Kramer, aged 3 mouths, and 30 days.

Marietta was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Kramer. She was born Dec. 7, 1905 8he was a ray of sunshine to all who knew her and the loss is keenly felt.

The funeral services were conducted in the Seventh-day Adventist church. Although it was raining the services were well attended by relatives and friends who showed in this their respect and sympathy for the bereaved parents. Although not permitted to remain long with her parents, Marietta does not leave them without the hope of a joyous reunion which is to take place when the great Life-giver comes to awaken those that sleep in Rim' and take his people unto himself. Words of comfort were spoken by the writer from Matt. 13: 28.

F. C. Clark name was Charlotte Schneider. She was born in Russia. Jan.

25, 1840, united in marriage to G. Ilanhardt in 1861. Site came from the old country to Rush Co. Kansas in i875, where she resided up to the time of her death. Of the seven children born into the family only one son is living, Elder J.G.

Kan hard t. Sister Ilanhardt was converted about thirty years ago and united with a company of people calling themselves Brethren but in 1893 she heard the message of truth for these last days and gladly cast her lot with the Seventh day Adventist people and has since been a faithful member of the Shaffer church. Her sickness lasted but a few minutes having arisen in the morning to prepare breakfast but owing to iailure of the heart she sank to the floor and was placed on a bed by her husband where she expired in a few moments. The esteem in which the deceased was held was shown by tne large attentive audience who attended the service. Words of comfort were spoken by Brother Henry Moir, elder of the Ne-koma church and the writer.

The husband and son mourn their loss, yet not The Bible training class which Elder Trubey is conducting in Oakland, opened last week with four members. Elder I. F. Thorn asks us to announce through the Worker that his address is now 408 E. 5th Hutchinson Kansas.

Brother H.M. Hiatt has begun the work with Ministry of Healing He worked in Kansas City last week, and spent Sabbath and the first of this week with the Topeka chureh. Died of heart failure, near Shaffer, Kansas, Apiil 10, 1906. Mrs, Charlotte Hauhardt.
