Miss Elizabeth Myers is helping in the home of S. G. Apple-ton. Mrs. Jim Boyd and Earl Clam-pet were Topeka visitors last week.

Esther Cowdry is visiting home folks. Geo. Appleton went to Topeka Monday returning Tuesday. Fred Cowdry and quite a number of friends went fishing last week. Vhey had no luck until some one showed them how.

Mrs. Wyllie went to Kansas City with her sister Daisy. Robert and Fred Lindsay have been visiting their cousin, Thos. Wyllie. Mr.

J. P. Boot took two loads of hogs to Topeka Monday. Tommie Wyllie gave a birthday party Saturday afternoon. Those present were: Misses Emily Knapp, Elsie Sage, Hazel Knapp and Sophia Best; Messrs.

Walter Bronnan, Robert Lindsay, Richard Brennan and Elmer Long. F. W. Winter sustained a severe sprain of his ankle playing ball at the picnic on the Fourth, but by prompt and vgorous treatment the injured member promptly responed and no serious result will follow.
