THE TICEET. The ticket nominated by the Republican convention Saturday ii in every way most satisfactory. The candidates really need no further introduction than the simple statement that out of a large number of good men they were chosen. The defeated will work for tbo entire ticket. Its election ie certain.

Than was hot little objection to the nomination of Prof. O. C. Hill for treasurer. He ia in every way qualified to fill the position as it should be filled with credit to himself and the convention placing it within hia easy reach.

The friend of Norman Chapman only obtained hia nomination by the hardest kind of work. Ha defeated George I. Prewitt on of the best of officers and other atrong candidates. He understands the duties and will be a bright and da-serv inf officer. John Cash maos nomination over a man ao noted and capable as Stephen Hunter ia a high compliment.

Mr. Cash-maa is popular candidate and The Wobld fmla sura that will make a vary enargatir and succeasful sheriff. The MrifTs office is said to pay th beat of all couaty officas. It is the hardest to fill Them are few men who can catch oa to ita dutiaa. But John Cash man is one of the few.
