A COMBINATION WITH A PAST RECORD Mr. John Ackard, the hustling real estate dealer and land owner of Colby, Kansas, has just recently transferred. his son H.

B. Ackard from the Ackard Land Company of Denver, to the Colby, Kansas office, where they will both be actively engaged in closing out the entensive land interests owned by the Senoir member of the firm. Mr. H. B.

Ackard is founder and builder of the Ackard Land Company with offices at 317-18 and 19 Denham Theatre building which is no doubt the best known and advertised Land Company in the Rocky Mountain District. We do not hesitate in making the statement that this new firm will be as well known over the territory covered by the Real Westerner, as any other land operators in the west. Mr. John Ackard owns individually in northwest Kansas sixty or seventy farms and is in a position to give live wire dealers contracts which are most attractive and profitable to them and desirable for their customers. The new office of this firm just opened at Colby, Kansas is the one of the finest equipped offices in western Kansas.

Mr. H. B. Ackard will be in charge of the Colby office personally and will bring all of his large land experience and acquaintance to the Colby business. Mr.

John Ackard will spend most of his time with the firm and looking after his various investments in western Kansas. It will pay any land man to get in touch with this active Kansas firm and form a working connection with them as they can deliver the goods from their large lists of personally owned lands. Mr. John Ackard recently invested in a fine new car, a Jackson Princess, that he purchased at the Omaha Auto show. Mr.

Ackard drove this car from Omaha to Colby without taking her out of high gear for the entire distance, a feat seldom accomplished with any car. The Jackson Princess is without exception the finest car that we ever rode in and can hit off fifty miles an hour on Kansas roads without the least vibration of the car. It runs smoother than a pullman and is equipped with more than all the modern conveniences and appliances that go to make a car a real joy. When you come out to Colby to see The Ackard land company they will put you in the Jackson Princess and spirit you out to see their Thomas county lands in a jiffy.
