3 and a good hour was spent in prayer, praise and testimony. At 8:30 The Association met in devotion ied by Rev. Thos. McBride. At 9 the Moderator toot the chair and the minutes were read and approved.

Program for the forenoon was read and adopted. Letters were read from Liberty and Paola. The following committees were then appointed: Publication M. St. John, Mrs.

L. Wingert and Rev. C. S. Sheffield.

Foreign Missions Revs. Geo. Melton, Jacob Brown and G. G. Ferguson.

Education Rev. C. J. Pope. Bros.

J. M. George and H. T. Johnson.

State Convention Rev. G. T. Colvin, Sisters Fannie Scoville and T. A.

Martin. Auditing Rev. V. W. Robinson, Bros.

S. E. Mott and W. L. Blackstone.

Resolutions J. McBride, Bros. O. G. Cranston and A.

Curtis. Obituaries Revs. A. K. McGrew, J.

A. Her and L. B. Senter. Place and Preacher Bros.

R. Davis, Wallace Keene and Sister J. P. Hale. The following ministers were then introduced to the Association: Revs.

B. Tulloss, of Ohio, A. W. Campbell, of Harrison ville, V. W.

Robinson, Fontana, and G. G. Ferguson, Paola, also Mrs. II. White, of Drexel, and Miss Maria Jones.

Rev. C. J. Pope then made an address on "Christian Education," representing Ottawa University also spokeon Home Missions, and closed by presenting the following resolution which was adopted; "Resolved, that the Miami Association appoint a Commission on Systematic Beneficence, of seven members to co-operate witli a Commission to be appointed by tne State Convention, the object of the Commission being to encourage the churches to introduce some system of Christian Beneficence adapted to secure from each church an annual offering for each of the benevolent objects supported by Kansas Baptists, and an offering from each member of the church for these objects at the time the collections are taken." Rev. Walter P.

King, of Olathe, was then introduced and Bro. Tulloss was allowed five minutes to talk on Education and the new "President of Ottawa University. Rev. C. S.

Sheffield then spoke on the Publication Society. After a song Rev, I. N. Clark gave an address representing the A merican Baptist Missionary Union. Treasurer's report by the Treasurer, and report of the Auditing Committee by Bro.

Robinson read and adopted together. Committee on Place and Preacher report read by Bro. Davis. Adopted. After song, reading of scripture and prayer, Rev.

G. T. Colvin gave us a sermon from Phil. 1. 37; "Striving together for the faith of the gospel." After a song, the program committee reported the program for the balance of the meeting.

ReporL adopted. Devotional committee reported Bro. Robinson to lead the praise service at.
