On last Thursday a deserter from the U. S. Army was arrested by a Lieut, with the assistance of a constable of our county. The party was making no particular effort at concealment, and was captursd near Tisdale. He had taken a government horse with him when he left Fort Sill and traded it cu the way for another horse.

The name of the deserter was given as John Glasgow. The Lieut, started for Fort Sill with his prisoner on Friday morning.
