Uncle Jonas Leedy has entered the ring as a competitor for the News one year. The melon he gave us was a line one. The I. O. G.

George Ford took advantage of the excursion rates and took a run to New Kiowa, tlio terminus. He doesn't speak very favorable of that town. An ice cream supper will be given at the Windsor school house next Tues day evening, September 1st, for the benefit of the Sabbath school.
