Siiively, President. Prof, J. W. Shively is one of the best known educators in the state. He has been identified with the schools of Butler county for twenty-one years as county Superintendent and Superintendent of city schools.

He was principally educated in Missouri and attended, the Kansas State Normal. His pupils take the iirst rank; everywhere. Prop. C. N.

Parsons. Prof. C. N. Parsons, principal of the my "A commercial department is a graduate of the Fort Scott Normal School and is an able instructor always giving entire satisfaction, Prof.

Parsons has taught five years. He served two years as Principal of Commercial Department of the Conway Normal College at Conway Springs, Kansas, one year as teacher in Baker University, Baldwin Kansas, and two years as Principal of Commercial Department of the El Dorado College. Miss Bertice Simmons. The principal of the department of stenography and typewriting, Miss Ber-tice Simmons, is thoroughly competent and is doing effective work. She is a graduate of tho Wichita Commercial School and skilful in her work.

T. D. Prof. S. A.

Smith, Ph. D7, S. T. is a graduate of two of our best American schools and Leipsic Germany, besides studying in Paris, London and other European cities. His studies abroad occupied four years.

He speaks fluently French and German, and is almost as much at. home with Latin and Greek, while he reads thirteen different languages. Dr. Smith has also taught in several other departments and has three times been college president in the east and west. He has taught from the primary grades to the post-graduate work of the university.

Miss Coua Moonkv. Miss Cora A. Mooney who has charge of the chool of expression and physical culture was brought up in this community. After graduating at the High School of El Dorado she spent a year in special studies and training here, and last year attended Ottawa University taking a place in the front rank in her I I 1 Fannik.
