He was only nineteen miles away when that express train on the Santa Fe went through the bridge at Revero, Missouri.

The wreck occurred to the east bound train and his train was coining west and would have been the next one to cross the bridge A close call, but far enough for practical purposes. There are some fine farmers around Peter Johnson is through planting his large corn crop and the same is coming up nicely. He has also sown 25 acres of alfalfa.
