The refusal of the widow to accept under the will of her deceased husband renders the will inoperative so far a3 between her and others claiming portions of the estate, but as between other persons the provisions of the will will be carried out as near in accordance with the intention of the testatorlas it can be so enforced. A landlord has a lien on every part of the crop raised on the leased prem-is and no writing is required to give force to such a lien nor is the filing or recording of the contract of lease, if any exists, a pre-requisite to the creation of such a lien.
