A floating society of Christian Eni deavor has been formed on board of a tngboat running between Boston and Hoboken. The society meets each evening in the after cabin for Bible reading and prayer. When the tag is at her dock or in harbor with her string of barges through stress of weather, the members faithfully attend chureh or bethel services. A year ago only one Christian was on board the one now president but' now thero are five in a crew of 12. Having already as a society given $5 for mission work, they are in a fair way to be placed on the roll of honor at Cleveland in July.
