I presume you will not be surprised (with such a preacher), notwithstanding the mercury stood below zero, two noble young ladies confessed their Savior, and the next day were buried with their "Lord in baptism. I met many of my old-time friends and brethren on this trip whom wo -expect to meet on the shores of eternity. Brotherly, J.

E. Sniffix. Bowling Green, Jan. 3. I spoke in a meeting at the Bible College on Thursday evening and in two meetings 'yesterday.

I also spoke in a private house yesterday afternoon. At the close of the meeting a man who is not a member of the church asked me to come to his house for a meeting and I intend to go. Perhaps he may become obedient to the faith. At any rate it is Scriptural to go rom houso to house. Don Carlos Janes.

Ringwood, 0. Feb. 7, 1905. Having been quiet for some time, I will give an account of myself. Have been at home most of new year.

Preached only two sermons one at our home-congregation, Erie, and one at Cleo, O. T. Am due the second Lord's day of this month at Shattuck, but have writen the brethren there to postpone the meeting till the first week in March if convenient. I go to Waynoka the third Lord's day for a short meeting and from there to Pringy, then expect to Malinda Thomas was born January 21, 1840, and died February 17, 1905. Was united in marriage to Win.

The funeral services were held, in the meeting house in the presence of a large concourse of people, conducted by the writer. Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth yea, saith the' spirit, that they may rest from their labors, and their works do follow them. (Rev. 14:13.) Blessed are they that clo His commandments that they may have a right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.

H. Shumate. put in aDOiu an my ume uuu miu The winter here has been very severe, so that I did not venture out. Love, to all the brethren and success to the P. C.

In hope, E. C. Eakes. Lookout, Idaho, Eeb. 5, 1905.

Dear Bros. Parmiter and Moore We know that space in the clean little P. C. is very valuable, but we would like for the brotherhood at large to know of the condition of things in this part of our Lord's vineyard. Lookout is 30 miles east of Lewiston about forty miles southeast of Moscow, Idaho.

We do not know of any loyal congregation of the church of Christ worshiping nearer than 25 or 30 miles. A sard thing, however. Loyal members are scarce. Some who. claimed to be loyal are being led captive by the digressives.

Now, it is our lot to be here and we would like to have Primitive Christianity established near our home. Has any brother a plan The fact is, we are not financially able to support a preaching brother for all the work needed, but what shall we do? We know this will sound old to some of our preaching brothers (especially the older ones), to hear of mission work without support, but we wish the brothers to know of these things, and surely some good brother will speak of it if nothing more than for our comfort. What say you brother Many thanks to Bro. J. -W.

Atkinson for tracts good reading for lis in our surroundings. How little one may think of the great good he is doing while in a little act of Christian benevolence, Shake hands with us, Bro. Any good preaching brother passing this way may make his home with us. In hope of heaven, G. J.

LOTJGH. Bona, 2-S-1905. W. E. Parmiter: Kind editor, you will find enclosed $1.00 to pay my subscription to Primitive Christianity another year, also, send one year to Mrs.

L. J. Martin, Cooper, Texas, R. E. D.

Route Ko. 2. I like P. C. so well I do not wish to miss a single copy.

Wish it could be placed in every home the world over. Brother Parmiter, I read a letter in anu-ary 19th number of P. C. written by W. E.

Spiller. He tells in his letter about a Bro. Harison Evans, who got both hands cut off. I would like to send my little mite to help but do not know where to send it. Will you please find out and notify me.

Your sister in Christ, Mrs. Levia Brewer. Bona, Missouri. Little Milton Mix, 2 years, 8 months and 26 days old, died Eebruary 2, 1905, having been spared so short a time to bless, comfort and cheer the hearts and home of father and mother. The funeral was held at the home by W.

H. Shumate, who spoke words of cheer to the sorrowing friends, and grief -stricken parents, who have every consolation in the Gospel concerning the lost, and may they so ljve that when death comes to them they may be as much prepared to meet their God as was little Milton. On Saturday, Eebruary 4th, the remains of this little jewel was laid to rest in the Eskridge cemetery. Our darling's chair is vacant now, His welcome voice we hear no more, Around God's throne we hope he'll live, With other loved ones gone before. We want to take him by the hand, -Just over on that golden shore, And join with all that glorious band" And praise the Lord forevermore.

W. H. S. PURE SPEECH. Mullinville, 2-13-'05.

Primitive Christianity, Wichita, Please say to the brotherhood that we would like for a few more loyal brethren to locate with us and help build up the cause of the Redeemer at this place. There is something like twenty-five disciples at this place who will band together in a short time to worship God according to apostolic order. Come and help us. Land can be bought here yet, and this is a good wheat and stock country, and is a very healthy place to live. Land is selling fast at from ten to twenty dollars per acre owing to location and improvements.

Also good place ov blacksmith and hardwareman. Come and see or Bro. Parmiter In Bro. J. II.

D. Tom-son's article on "What time shall we observe the Lord's Supper, in the P. C. of January 1 2th, he speaks of it being incorrect to say Lord's Supper In saying this he says that Jesus never called the bread and wine the Lord's, supper. Now, if Bro.

Tomson will find one place in the Bible where the cup is spoken of as wine, we will not criticise his article. So many mistakes are made about that in the churches. They use wine instead of the juice of the vine, and that is the reason they arc made. -People, and especially preachers, are not particular enough about the exact reading wiite. McDonald.

Remember that to a great extent, our lives are formed or patterned after what we read. Wo should be verv careful what we allow our children to read. Don't refuse to furnish vour house with wholesome literature. Don't wait until your children have formed a taste for inferior literature. Ex.

Dear Brethren: As opportunity is afforded, I will drop a few thoughts for P. C. On last Thursday I received a 'phone message'.
