The extraordinary liberality of the Latham lumber dealers in that one instance, if it continues should be hailed by the consumers with delight. To be sure it comes rather late, and cannot materially benefit those who have been hauling their lumber from Leon to Latham rather than pay the exorbitnat prices demanded at home. But they should be thoughtful for even small favors and accept tne reduction with a good grace and let the farmers get as much benefit from it as possible.
