E. Buckles. The Picnic. Last Sunday afternoon the young folks of this vicinity and, a number from other localities, made preparation and drove over to the large hill just west of town to enjoy the afternoon in an old fashioned picnic. Subscribe for The News.

V. Bowersock, in the south part of the city. A great deal of the supposed Texas fever among cattle in Chautauqua county has turned out to be dry murrain, and the Texas cattle are not to blame for this disease. T. R.
