Martin officiciated. The ENTERPRISE extends the usual congratulations. Some time ago a Greenleaf young man resigned a position to take up what he supposed a much better one and the editor. of this paper gave him a big write up to his request, telling what a fine boy he was and wished him success. Now for the thanks we are receiving this muckle headed chump is doing all the rot he can against our interest.

He has the swell head so bad that Greenleaf people are too common, furthermore this pie faced chessy cat is trying to "work in" a reputation among young ladies as "very smooth" by running down other young men, and we think that some one ought to advise the chessy cat to keep his pie gash closed before some sensible person puts a face on him that will eat hay. The ENTERPRISE stands by all young men and when they get contemptable to us might just as well prepare their "little box." "SAMPLE COPY." The publisher of the ENTERPRISE sends out a number of sample copies each week, and if you receive one we ask your careful perusal of it. Unless you are a subscriber, no subsequent bill will ever be presented to you, and you need not fear to remove the the post office. Just consider it an invitation to sub scribe for the Greenleaf ENTERPRISE, the best local paper in this part of the county. We are receiving new subscribers every day andphope you will soon join them.
