Holdren to Be Deputy. Chas. D. Ise, county attorney-elect announced yesterday that Joe Holdren, who has been deputy under county attorney Hal Clark, has promised to remain with him in a like capacity until April or May and perhaps permanently. Mr.

Jim Blue of Cherryvale was ar rested Thursday a ternoon by Sheriff Paxson on a charge of Shooting into an interurban car near Ceerry vale adout two weeks ago. Blue has not admitted his guilt but the sheriff claims to have a good case against him. Blue is about 23 years old and has been employed as a cellar cleaner at the Cherryvale smelters. The sheriff found a smelter lantern sitting by a camp fire near the place where the shooting had occurred. With this clue be began work, finding that Blue had taken lantern 0 similar description from tbe smelter and had not returned it.

It also was found that Blue had been 'possum hunting tbe night of tbe shooting and that he carried a gun of the same cali bre as the bullet that lodged in the side of the car after shattering the window.
