The remains wero taken to the home at Eldorado, Sunday; the funeral was held from the residence Monday afternoon at 3 o'clock and the remains were laid to rest in Bello Vista cemetery. Hattie Safford was born near Jaynes-ville, September 20, 1871. At the age of 13 years, ehe came to Augusta with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. S.

Safford, and was married to Virgil A. Osburn June 12, 1889. They resided here until 1896, Mr. Osburn having been elected to the office of Clerk of the Court, they moved to Eldorado where tney have resided since. Mrs.

Osburn was a member of the Christian church; she was one of the noblest of homelov- Mrs, S. A. Simpson and Miss Maud Holladay returned last night from the Fair at St. Louis. Mrs.
