14 THE BUDGET rence one year before my first birthday. I have always attended the Lawrence city schools, and the only important event during that time, was the chocolate cake I made in Domestic Science. I expect to attend K. next year. JOHN RILING was born back in the fifties.

Entered L. H. S. four years ago Was captain and manager of the L. H.

S. base ball team for two years. Is noted for a famous pass made at La Harpe, Kansas, three years ago, in a foot ball game. Will enter Law School in K. U.

CHARLEY ROBERTS was born July 27, 1889 in Oneida, Kansas. Known as "Shorty." Will take the Engineering course on the hill. WILL SALISBURY was born in Lawrence in 1885. He has seemed to have bad luck in almost every. thing, but has always worked hard.

He expects to take the Pharmacy course on the hill next year. ZANA SCHLEIFER, otherwise known as "Dutch," was born in the "Sun Flower" State, July 25, 1888 and has the distinction of getting through High School without learning any Shakespeare. She expects to go West and get rich, after graduating from K. U. BERTHA -She refuses to tell the date, or place, of her birth, and the most important event in her lite; but we imagine that the latter was when she refused to write a Senior biography.

JEAN SMITH -She has gone to school in Kansas, nine years. Next year, she expects to go to either K. U. or to some Domestic Science School. RUTH SPRAY-I was born at Atchison, in the vear 1889.

My home has been in Lawrence for the last six years. I intend to complete my education at K. but have not yet decided whether to enter next year, or not. LOIS E. STEVENS-Born in the nineteenth century.

She delivered the response to the Seniors, in her junior year. very tond of Latin: continual. ly quoting Cicero, Although not a sprinter, she helped us win a cup, at the track meet. JULIUS GEORGE REINHART UHRLAUB was born in Lawrence. in 1890.

I entered High School and expected to get through because of my name, but in this I was badly mistaken. I expect to go to K. where I am going to try to do better. ISLE WALDRON was born in Ft. Pierre, South Dakota, 1890.

She spent the greater part of her life riding cayuses, on the plains of her native state. Her great desire was to be up in the world and the only way was to be up in stature. She has attained only five feet, ten inches, but still lives in hopes. She came Lawrence in 1906, for the sole purpose of entering L. H.

S. After graduating she will go to her home in South Dakota and. as she is charmed with Lawrence, she may return to K. U. next year.

CHRISTINE WENRICH -I was born near Lecompton, Kansas, in 1890. The greatest event of my life was when I fell into a rain-barrel, head first. Even this did not give me the curls, I had always longed for, SO I decided not to try it again. In 1905, I moved to Lawrence and entered L. H.

as a Junior. The faculty have decided to give me a diploma, so I will probably go to K. U. next year. LOUIS R.

WILHELM-11 19, '87. Is of rather an independent nature. Much given to sarcasm; and general dislike for work. Has sort of gone to seed in photography, but expects to change his ways and study Law, in K. U.
