He was an honor student, president of the Sophomore class in 1905, and made the course in three years. He is now taking chemical engineering on the hill. CLARA HASE was born in 1889, in Lawrence. Entered the Lawrence High School four years ago and, like a freshman, made the great mistake of taking Hign School life seriousl However, I cannot say that lam sorry for this, since having the good fortune to get decent grades then has induced my kind teachers to keep up their part of the good work ever since. I intend to enter K.

U. next fall. ETHEL HICKOCK-I was born in Missouri in 1888, and have spent most of mv life in Kansas. I expect to attend the Institute in July and be a country school teacher next winter. RUTH' HODGSON 'was born some-where, a long time ago but never really existed until she came to Lawrence, which she has graced with her presence she won't tell how long for fear some one may guess her age.

Some people think she must be verv old as there is nothing she doesn't know. She never studies, evidently, but always knows her lesson. As a reward for her work she was allowed to address the Juniors at the Commencement. She will go to K. U.

next year and after four months study will teach Greek. 1 II i GEORGIA ELLIOTT I was born Aug. 15, 1888, at Holiday, Kansas. Entered L. H.

S. two years ago, after attending Manual Training High School in Kansas City. Will spend next year at Seattle, Washington. ROBERT FISHER was born Janu-ary 30, 1889, in Wamego, Kansas, which place was, however, graced by his presence only about six months. Since then he has lived in Lawrence.

He has never cared very much for the opinions of others and has tried to have a good time, so far. The most important thing he ever did was to take an '06 pennant down from the clock tower. Will take electrical engineering on the hill next year. WINIFRED FISHER, generally called Dot, was born Jan. 30, 1889, in Wamego, Kansas, but has resided nearly all her lite in the wildest portion of Lawrence.

She estimates the number of miles she has walked in her life would reach well into the billions. Never having eaten green apples or being bitten by a rattlesnake. her lite has not been very exciting. She and her brother have the distinction of being the only twins in the Senior class. She does not know what she will do next year, as she never looks tnat far ahead.

LOLA FLORY was born on the 4th of July in the eighth decade of the nineteenth century, and therefore derives her independent and patriotic spirit from that fact. She has been so fortunate as never to have made the acquaintance of Shakespeare while in L. H. S. Along with many other hopes, she hopes to be numbered among the aspirants at K.

U. EDNA E. GRIESA was born Tune 1, 1888. She never has any thrilling adventures. The path of her life has always been among the thorns and roses of Douglas county.

She expects to enter the University next fall. Frying potatoes is her specialty..
