Corn yields from fifty to one hund red bushels to the acre, and wheat from fifteen to fifty bushels. We have a natural corn and wheat country, but the production is yet in its infancy. Flax is a success and yields from eight to twenty -five bushels to the acre. Castor beans are a good, paying crop.

Oats do well, giving an average of fifty bushels per acre. Barley seems to be a native of tho country, and no better can be raised anywhere. Rye does extremely well.
