I cheerfully state that in my opinion Swift's Specific is a most excellent tonic. In the month of September, 1883, my health failed by reason of overwork while attending the state legislature. He got the boots through a promise to come in and pay for them before returning to the nation, stating that he was ex- pecting money from a Coffey ville bank.
