There will be a circulating public library in this hall that will be a good thing for the education of the people. Thus Pittsburg will receive such honors as many larger cities are denied. Let every one whether democrat or republican, free silver or gold standard, turn out and hear both speakers. The Pittsburg Daily Headlight has within the last three months erected a new building on the corner of Seventh and Broadway. This is the second move they have Pittsburg is growing in population and wealth as the years go by. To keep up with these advancements the Purple and White has nearly doubled with this issue.

comment. The need of another school building is thoroughly felt. Many of the seats have two persons in them, and at this season of the year it is not very pleasant. It is thought that next year all of the Central building will be used for the high school. Already one of the rooms down stairs and the superintendent's office have been turned into recitaiion rooms and there are only two primary grades and one second grade in the building.
