EL Local Miscellany. Beautiful weather. Rye is heading out. A.S. Edgerton is having a well drilled.

LooK OUT for the new goods at the May Day store. Two rubber tipped lead pencils for 5 cts. at the GLEANER office. The Washington colony expect to start from here May 10th. Some little squads hav gone on to travel at their leisure.

25 good envelopes for 10 cts. or a bottle of black ink for 5c. at the GLEANER office. The Mayday Sale Association is encouraged to keep the ball moving and will hold forth again Saturday June 5th at 2 P. M.

Names of pupils also perfect in deportment but absent or tardy: Linda Baber, Kate Auchard, Viola Spurrier, Martha Davidson, Mary Osbourn, Ella Walker, Francis Baber, Jimmie Osbourn and Chesley St.John. For the joy with which it was hailed we will not complain of the rainy day which caused the fair record of many of our pupils to be blotted. CARRIE A.
