11 m- 8 P-m The new firm will be on deck after the J. Kendrick, Pastor. This magnilicient structure, to be built of stone, and to cost about $40,000, will be completed and ready for occupation by the first of next September. Mr. Geo.

H. Evans of Topeka, has the contract. The main building is 150x70 feet, four stories high and it will contain sixteen large rooms. The dormatories will be built seperate from the main structure. The Sterling high and graded school and the Cooper College will place Sterling in the front rank as an educational centre.

a Sterling has a complete telephone system, connected with all parts of the city, with Lyons Alden, Htmtsville, Stafford and St. John. The city is lighted by electric light and about four hundred lights are now in use. The city is putting in a complete system of water works at a cost of $40,000. Five miles of iron mains will be laid this season, the work now is well under way.
