One of the most curious freakes of wind on record occured at Pittsburg Sunday evening. Wind struck Lyman Jones' barn, carried it away and demolished it, leaving the horses standing tied to their stalls unhurt.

The harness was found on the roof of Mr. Jones' house. A wood sbed stood in the path of the wind. The shingles were stripped off of it as clean as a man could take them off. All the shingles were blown through one pane of glass in the window and piled up on the floor of Mr.
