J. T. Barnes of this city, which consisted of three perfect joints of the reptile species, known to geologists as the joint snake. The joints run anj-leingly around the body with notch-shaped teeth like that of a saw. This species of snake was known to exist in the earliest history of this country, but in this age very little is known of th reDtile.
