Members present 11s before. Tbo board selected one hundred names to act as jurymen for tho ensuing year. The board appointed M. J. Wilcox as one of tho board of school examiners.

Bill of J. AV. Hatcher for services as sheriff, for 1.00, allowed. On motion, tho county clerk was instructed to furnish nil the stationary, fuel and wod for tho county, using the utmost economy in purchasing, and present tho bills and vouchers for the samo. 0i motion, the clerk was instructed to insure tho court house nnd contents for $2,000, at tho rato of 13-4 per cent, for one year.

On motion, tho sheriff was instructed to have a room partitioned off of tho southwest corner of the court house fur a sheriff's offico and juror's room. Bill of C. W. Gulp for services as county commissioner i'or 10, allowed. Kill of AV.

G. Whitney for services as county commissioner for $12, allowed. Bill of F. Gharlesworth for services as county commissioner, for $10, allowed. On motion, the board will meet again on the 1st Monday of March, 1874.

Bill of I). F. Eakin for sundries for $1.05 was allowed. Tho following resolution was adop ted Unsolved, That tho clerk of the board be instructed to report forthwith 1 111. 1 10 wnat persons uram shop license nave been granted by tho board, and if the same have been taken out.

Answer Thcro has been several licenses granted but tho parties have tailed to take them out and that there is not a licensed dram shop in the county, outside of Beloit. On motion, Tho bond of J. Hatcher, as sheriff, was approved. Board adjourned until to-morrow at 10 0 clock, a. 111.

January 13, 10 a. sr. Board met pursuant to adjournment. Members present as yesterday. Commissioner Whitney offered the lollowiug resolution llcsolvcd, That the action of the board of April 7th, 1873, in regard to the county printing, be revoked, and, that until otherwiso ordered, the Be loit Gazette be the official paper of tin county, receiving therefor the fees al by law.

A voto being taken, it was lost Whitney voting in the affirmative and Gulp and Gharlesworth in tho negative. On motion, he bond of J. M. Bus zard was returned to him for additional Leo bill in case of Emma Casncr, petitioned on a writ of habeas corpus, lor was allowed. Fee bill in justice court, in case, of State vs.

On motion, An appropriation 00, was made to tho district clerk for the purpose of procuring a desk to keep the reports aud other law books belonging to the county in said desk not to exceed the sum of $20,00.
