O. E. HOLBROOK, LITTLE niVLIt KA.MAS. i in ui TO VISIT THE "LITTLE RIVER LUMBER YARD," TO INSPECT THE STOCK, LOOK AROUND, SEE FOR YOUR SELF AND PICK OUT YOUR OUQfl The Cry Is Still, a Bridge. To th editor of tht Mew.

Su: I noticed a call for a bridge meeting in your recent Issue. We hope. Mr. Editor, you will plead for two bridges, we are for two or none. We aided as far as we were able to secure the railroad bonds and soon we will be asked to vote bonds for a bridge.

If the proposition Is made to erect two, we will help all we can. We want a bridge at the upper crossing. Nearly one-half of the people of Union township live north of your town and the people north of us, in Ellsworth county, travel our roads, which are the best roads, have their bridge Interests Identical with us, they want to trade In Little River. A. glance at the map will show where the largest number of people live the east part got the ralltoad, now we hope for fair play and the bridge, if only one, constructed to the advantage of all, but especially In favor of the north.

We can carry bonds for two bridges, but for one, It Is folly to put the question before the people at our next township election. It Is the north and east roads leading to Little Bluer that need the bridge. Mr. Editor, we know you cannot afford to be partial, we trust you will do Justice to all, we shall do the same. We cannot attend your proposed meeting to-night, but the north It solid.

Yours, very sincerely, Bridge or Sic us. Bargcstown, Jan. 17, '61. Points of Interest to Emigrant. To tht adllor of to New.
