Anon Hanson Gullik Gullickson. Errickson-Sallyards. On Wednesday evening, March 6th, Mr. Albert B. Erickson and Miss Louise Sallyards were married.

The ceremony took place at Christ Church at eight o'clock, and was witnessed by a large number of friends. A reception followed at the home of the bride's parents, County Treasurer Sallyards and wife, where a feast of good things was provided. The housekeeping began immediately on one of the Erickson farms in South Salem. Eide-Holverson. On Wednesday, March 6th, Mr.

Otto D. Eide and Miss Julia Holverson were united in marriage at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Knute Holverson, northeast of Eureka. The ceremony was performed at noon, and was followed by a bountiful dinner.

These young people are now at home on the Eide farm in South Salem. The practical value of keeping church records, such as baptisms, confirmations, marriages and the like may not seem very evident, but we have had several experiences which tend to show that these may sometimes prove quite useful. The pastor bad a communication recently from Germany calling for a certified of the record of baptism of a child copy twelve years ago, and some time since he had a request of a similar nature from Oregon, the latter being necessary to establish. a claim for a government pension. There are more reasons than one for doing things according to the scriptural rule, "decently and in order." The Rev.

J. Walstad, a student of the Seminary at Red Wing, Minnesota, spent three Sundays during March in this community. Services were held at the South Salem church and at Eureka. The churches composing th charge have united in sending Bro. Walstad a call.

It is hoped he will be inclined to accept. Mr. W. H. Barger recently made a business trip to Chicago and later one to Kansas City.

The way Mr. Barger's grocery trade is enlarging is gratifying to his friends as well as himself. An additional delivery wagon has been found necessary to accommodate the growing trade. The little child of Mr. and Mra.
